REUBEN HOUGHTON
Son of James and Lydia Ware Houghton. The family was from the south
Burns Township and Cohoctah area. He was nicknamed “Ruby”. He was first
married to Agnes Curtis and when she died he married Marjorie Pratt. He
served as mayor of Byron at one time.
