HENRY AND JEMIMA TELLING



Henry and Jemima Morse Telling were born in England and came to America in 1844 and to this area in 1857. They were parents of nine children, one dying in the Civil War. There are descendants still living in the area.

Birthday party for Elizabeth Ann Telling at her daughter Hazel Tower’s home. These were the four oldest citizens of Byron. L to R – Margaret Arthur, 96 yrs; Mrs. Telling, 90 yrs, Jennie Welch, 97 yrs (she lived to 104), and Jay F. Pratt, 94 yrs.
